i did all the previous blues lessons, but here i dont understand why he chose to play those specific notes at 8 minute as part of a blue progression…

Hi @Quinn2024 , you’ve done the earlier blues modules, so you probably know why Justin plays the F# (string 4, fret 4), it’s part of the basic shuffle. He also adds some additional embellishment notes (the G on string 4, and C and C# on string 5). These are fairly common variations on the basic blues shuffle. He uses (and explains them) in this lesson:
