Awesome! Thank you.
Majik, Thanks for the response. Great tips but did also make me chuckle a little.
I do agree learning how to use your tools is very important but I am still at the point of trying to remember the finger placement of chords like Am.
Next is to not sound like nails on a chalkboard.
I donāt think Iāll sound like Slash at all but to get close to the sound and keep plugging away at the chords would be awesome and inspiring.
Thanks for the tips. Definitely great advice and Iāll see if I can start to get close to the sound but yea, youāre right, Itāll be a while before I can get the chords.
If you are working on the chords, much of the rhythm part of SCoM is quite clean but with a chorus effect.
So: a fairly clean amp (not much gain) and a chorus effect and you should be good.
Cheers,
Keith
Awesome, thanks man!
I just received my new Mustang Micro Plus, and I really like the Blues 1951 settting.
Can someone please tell me how I go about trying to emulate this on my quilter?
Haha! Fender is using a model of the Excelsior? Okay, what else have they changed since I last looked at one. . .
lol
They have modeling for 50 amps now, up from 12 on the straight (non-plus) micro.
The Tone app is pretty, but rather than emulate what I have from my amp, I want to emulate what I get out of the Mustang Micro Plus ON the ampā¦
Lots of choices.
I have no idea on quilter stuff what do you have?

Sorry for not giving a serious reply, but that was the first thing, that came to my mind
.
On a serious note, I recently bought a Micro Plus and Iām very happy with it!
Not sure how you could emulate the different amp models of the Micro, or if itās even possible, but you could at least take the settings for the effects as a rough orientation?
What kind of gear is the Quilter? How is your setup with the quilter?
I still donāt really get what you are looking for. Are you trying to replicate the presets of the Micro on your amp, to get it sound like the Micro presets?
Or is it just about running the tone of the Micro through your quilter and adjust from there?
I ask, because itās possible to connect the Micro to an amp via line in (like other devices I use for backing tracks) and to get the tone of the Micro 1:1 via the amp speakers. But with this connection on my amp, I canāt add additional effects or tweak settings of the amp then. The amp would just work as a speaker.
Have been using it for a while already. My Mustang LT25 has it too.
You wonāt emulate what is on the Mustang on the Quilter - the Quilter is not that kind of tool.
If you want the Mustang sound out of the Quilter, then youād use both. Plug the Mustang output into the Quilter loop return. The manual for the Mach 2 has that info on page 9 and bottom of page 16 for the Mach 3. The Mach 3 has a neat way of handling the input, but I think I am seeing Mach 2 in your photo. Oddly, both manuals are linked here: MicroPro Mach 2 Combo 8 ā Quilter Laboratories
I never would have imagined that they would use one of their Pawn Shop amps as an amp model. Do they have the Vaporizer and the Ramparte, too?

@Helen0609 lol, yeah⦠I noticed that, but not before I had uploaded the photo. I was gone for a month and have been fiddling around with the Mustangā¦
I really like the sound I get with this setting, and was hoping to figure out how to hear it in"real life" through the amp.
@sequences Bloody hell! I didnāt even consider that possibility⦠Thank you! And yes, underneath the dust it is a Mach 2.
@Richard_N I donāt see any in the factory list, but the names are all funky like āEvil Bassmanā and āAngry Rodent.ā
Thanks all!
Thatās why I asked. If you just want to use your amp as a speaker, so you donāt need your headphones (not dial in the tone on the amp), you can easily connect the headphone jack of the Micro to the line in of your amp via an audio cable. I have a Blackstar ID core V20 and the sound I get then is almost 100% like through the Micro (headphones). I tested this alteady with the Lavender Rain (cool preset, btw) and several other presets, works great and saved me from buying another amp right now.
Thank you.
Could someone post the amp and effect models in the Micro Plus? I canāt find a list on Fenderās website Thanks!
Same, canāt see you would need anything more for practice. Streams Bluetooth for backing track or metronome, good amp selections that sound great, rechargeable battery. Very nice piece of kit.
Thank you!!!
