That is very nice, I really like the shape of the Breedlove headstocks.
Congratulations and enjoy!
Congrats on your new guitar Rebecca! It sounds like all that research, preparation and then the testing in the shop really paid off. I bet you canāt wait to make music with it! Wishing you a safe journey to Texas!
BTW, well spotted with the pin-less bridge @HappyCat! Seems like a very handy invention, making string changing hassle free. I had never heard of it before. Nice!
Nice find! Those Breedloves have a good reputation. Your electrics might start feeling neglected.
Happy NGD Rebecca, lovely shine on that guitar. Enjoy.
well done Rebecca love it play it and enjoy :partying_face
Congratulations, it looks great
Yup. Drove through Arkansas today and spending the night in Palestine, Texas, 4 hour drive inside the border. Another 4 hour drive tomorrow and we are at my hubbyās brotherās home.
1500 miles or so. We love a good road trip!

Happy NGD Rebecca! Congratulations
Sheās beautiful! I love the warm colours
Enjoy your road trip and drive safe
Happy NG(2daysback)D Rebecca
Very good to also play an accoustic, which is sometimes extra nice if you have difficulty with something, just grab the electric one and then it suddenly becomes easier ā¦ I wish you a lot of time together and many happy days together ā¦
It is clear who does the holiday location planning
Greetings
Hey, the hubby got a new Ibanez Talman TMB 100 electric bass and a Fender Rumble 25 amp, too. Much nicer than that cheap bundle he got from Amazon 18 months ago. He already showed it off to his brother.
After tea and coffee we shall practice while gazing at the Texas countryside.
You made me smile so much
Greetings
Hi Rebecca, congratulations on your new guitar and Hubbies Bass, both nice instruments. Breedlove make some outstanding instruments and for some reason are very underestimated, every time Iāve picked one up itās always made me wish I could justify buying it. They are really nice and made to be environmentally conscious, which to me is important. The Talman is a very nice Bass and would have been what I would have got if I hadnāt have got such a good deal on my Cort. All you have to do now is to enjoy and get the best out of them!
Happy NGD Rebecca. Enjoy.
Sounds like a rootinā tootinā good time!!! Have fun playing togetherā¦ if others in your husbandās family join in the musical fun, you can have a real hootenanny!!!

How cool
So do I. We used to drive from Beirut to Dublin for summer holidays. Nine of us in the car and car and caravan for two weeks. Hereās a half-century-old home movie clip
Happy NGD Rebecca. That is a sweet looking guitar. I love the colour.
I canāt wait to hear it and t find out what you did with the rest of your money.
Hey, Rebecca! Havenāt been able to get onto the community except very occasionally over the past few months. I came across your thread here - nice guitar! Hope youāve been enjoying it. I donāt know what I would do if I lived really close to Sweetwater. LOL

Hey there.
I really love it, Iāve spent the last month only playing it while neglecting my electrics, and am finally getting the hang of it, (as well as any beginner I guess). My fingertips actually became sore again and sometimes I still get little pains in them, these 12-gauge strings are hard on the fingers!
Sweetwater is still a 5 hour drive for me, but it is tempting. Just donāt stay in the nearby Motel Six, one of the worst Iāve ever been in, lol.
Yeah, the acoustic strings gave me a fit when I started playing. The F chord has been quite difficult due to (the doc said - I refuse to believe lol) arthritis in the thumb. I know when I get an electric it should be easier.
When we went on vacation there were two ways to our destination. One passed through Fort Wayne. My wife gave that a hard pass. LOL.
We will eventually get there, and Iāll take your advice on the Motel 6. We may only be 3 hours from Sweetwater but weād probably find some things to do. Weāve had a couple adventures in dicey motels over the years that we did not seek out, and I know Iād like to avoid in the future especially for her sake.
Howās that new amp? Have you used it with both your electric and acoustic?
The amp is great, the crunch setting is good for practicing those power chords. I havenāt hooked my acoustic up to it at home, it sounded great on the demo amp at Sweetwater.
Bummer your wife nixed the stop there, I am fortunate that my husband plays bass, no problem with him going there at all!
The motel might be nasty but there is a nice Greek restaurant next to it.
