Nice to be back here after a long time. I must say my learning journey got really slow lately but that’s life I guess. I always wondered why justin kept saying, “if you are working, you might only have 30 mins in a day” and I didn’t understand it. Now that I’m at an internship, I understand lol
To the point!!
I genuinely am grateful to his free courses and what am I learning without them honestly?
I started making covers. It took me long enough to overcome my beginner anxiety and leave perfection behind and start making something. I got an interface and mic with my savings and recorded on GarageBand and PhotoBooth for the video.
I made a cover song for Blackbird and it’s up since last night. It’s my first one and I thought I’d let the gng know that I feel proud of not being perfect. After all, not everyone has access to professional stuff like Michael so stuff isn’t gonna look pretty.
My vocals, recording experience and mixing and everything is self-taught. One thing I am proud of is that I haven’t watched any lessons to learn drums as well. I have a ton of fun.
