I would like to share with you something I did yesterday…
I was sitting like I know some chord progression and fingerstyle pattern for standard open position. Then I remembered I got shortcut capo and never used it effectively… so I was like what if I put it here?
I combined it with standard capo on 1st fret… and even I dont know which chords or notes I am playing I really like it and I got strong feel like its some Japan or anime sound.
Maybe when I go for that “A” not on 6th string (hope its A) I can feel deep hope over really hard route… its hard to explain how it feels inside me, when I hear this notes.
I am Grade 2 so I dont know about key… anyone can tell if you recognize?
Anyone else experiment like this? Would like to see any share or experimenting.
Bonus for myself: I am really happy how foot tapping is synced with thumb picking, I am not practicing with metronome at all… its been months when I just wanted to “calibrate” it. I think strong impact here is I really enjoy playing this and I dont focus too much about something I have to “hit” something. I just do it.
@Socio Great pick. When I saw guitar in the first video… I already knew its Marco Cirillo. I got his patreon and following fingerstyle here. Great playing as always, downloaded tabs for that, so maybe some day. Second guy… 3 capos… I can imagine look of some “anti capo police” guys. Great playing.
@Alan_1970 Sounds great, my real face below. Heh.
He has short, but different. Mine is fretting only 5th, 4th and 3rd.
I played this for my daughter who is a big gamer when she has time, loves anime as well. She is 19 now and in college.
She said while listening,
‘I suddenly feel like I am skipping through a mushroom forest on the 2nd part of a multi stage quest to find a talking dragon. My mana is low and I might be attacked by monkeys flying in noodle bowls’ at any time.
I find this an amazing topic but I refuse to get into it man arghh I have far too much going on musically at the moment, but I love it Michael cheers Hec, I will return
