First Time Playing for People at

…age 65. Last month my high school class of 1971held the second reunion evening. I and an old pal I haven’t seen in years played a set for the gathering. Last August I got in touch to see if he was up for singing a few tunes. Happily he was ā€œup fer itā€.
Set List
20th Century Boy-T Rex
American Girl- TP and the Heartbreakers
Come Up and See Me- Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel
Starman-Bowie
Let’s Stick Together- Bryan Ferry
Cum On Feel the Noize-Slade
I used my son’s LPJ 120th Anivversary axe, it’s sweet!
We had backing tracks via the Moises app, it worked out nicely.

Congrats Robert!
Sounds like a fun event.
Six songs is like a proper short gig :open_mouth:
I clicked on the picture but alas, no music. Surely someone has some footage?
They even had you performing under the ā€˜Past Masters’ sign

Wow Robert, well done! You guys look cool, and what a playlist!

congrats on the performance. I trust it went well?

I can’t imagine what it would take to get me to perform in front of my old high school classmates. it’d take an act of God just to get me to attend a reunion. that’s a time I really don’t want to remember.

Nice job, Robert!

Gotta agree with Nate on this one… no way I’d play in front of my high school classmates… you’re brave!

Congratulations!

The pic is a screenshot, the video is on a private fb group and I can’t download or link the vid.
We got good feedback from the attendees but of course I thought I sucked!

That’s great and such a great list of songs!!!
