I wonder if you would mute this part as well like the head fret mute

Personally, I don’t mute the strings in front of the nut or the bridge on any of my guitars (the latter applies to electrics only, anyway) as the strings in those sections don’t make any unwanted sounds.
If it happens on your guitar, then sure, try if it helps resolve this issue. Otherwise, no need to bother. (I don’t think it’s pretty common to use these extra string muting accessories anyway, at least they’re not very visible.)
