Great cover guys - it sounds effortless! Which it of course only does if a lot of effort went into making it sound so good. And what a great video to watch while listening to the music!

On the video, both OH and I talked about it and realized we both thought the same thing. That there should be a “free falling” sky diver in it to match the lyrics. It seems to fit in pretty well!

Thanks for the look and listen on this one. No kidding on the time it took. Though, there is one advantage to a long project time. One gets to listen a million times and the mix is in most cases better because of the extra scrutiny.
On medical stuff, I think it simply goes with the age bracket. Some that are active seem to sidestep a few of the ills. But sooner or later those issue do show up. A good reminder to me to get moving more.

Thanks for the kind words! You are spot on in your assessment of the effort put in. OH49 put in a ton of time on all he contributed. I had fits with the backing vocals, for sure. In fact, the Mulholland backing vox I did was junk. We were going to leave it out, then OH49 took a shot at it and it was far better than anything I could come up with. I think I did a lot better with the other backing vocals, but it took a while to nail em down…

Ha, if you are talking about the pesky Rams, I think they were good enough already. They had some pretty key injuries I think, last year? Otherwise you might have the Lombardi down there.
But keep this in mind. We did not win the big one with offense, rather head coach McDonald and his defense. Sure we would love to have kept our OC, but such is life of being the big winner.
We shall see what transpires this year!

Not this month in the AVOYP section…but I’m really methodical in updating my LL regularly at the end of the month (like I feel guilty if I don’t) to keep track of my progress. This month’s video is about 2 songs we prepared for our school party…can I take the chance to ask you for some feedback/advice on my right hand technique? I smile too in the video

I have not been in my LL for gosh… I guess it has been years. One day I will take a stab at revamping it in full and giving it a much needed update. Thanks for giving a nudge to such ambitions!
