Any recommendations for editable scale diagram software, I was set to buy Neck Diagrams but noted it only works on PC or MAC, whilst I have a MAC I’d prepare something that works on an ipad.
So must work on Mac
ability to create scales from scratch.
Ability to identify interval names on each note.
Change colour of each note circle.
Purchase is fine but no subscription service.

I made my own using primitives for the various elements and combining theose into a complex element I could cut and paste. For instance a complex element would be the fretboard. In my case, I did it with Libre Office on Mac. I just copy an element and paste it into place on a page set up for printing.
I see you ask for programmatic ability to identify interval names. For the very beginner, I think that is ok, but given the nature of what you have in your picture, I’d recommend doing that yourself. It will help you remember it better if you figure it out.
