@LievenDV unfortunately I have no flamenco background, it’s just too big a movement

Flamenco takes big and powerful movements.
If this is unintentional, I would suggest trying to tone that down just a bit by trying to keep your hand hovering in the same spot. You already have a good feel for dynamics and applying a bit more “economics” will only improve your control, subtleness and accuracy for higher speed parts
Not telling you what to do here though, just a suggestion ^^

I already have had the feeling that the bigger movement kept me from building more speed. But it will impact control, subtleness and accuracy as well. I’ll make this an attention point and try to tone it down.
