I heard Kenny Rodgers version of Lady recently and thought “I should learn that to antagonize my children with.” Anyway I’d never come across G minor, and it’s a great sounding chord and a relatively easy barre.
Now that you know the Gm barre chord you know all 12 minor barre chords. Just slide that shape to the root note of the chord you want to play. For example 2nd fret F#m, 5th fret Am, 8th fret Cm and so on
