GAS temptation yesterday

Yesterday, I stopped at the guitar store to get strings (re-strung both guitars yesterday.) Chatting with the guys there, I mentioned having given passing thought to getting a travel-size guitar. They had me try a Martin mini-dreadnought. Man, was that a nice-sounding little guitar. $475. But as bad as I am, I just can’t justify buying a third guitar.

Oh you can!

The first step is denial. Then rationalization. Then acceptance.

Congratulations Mark on your new guitar which you’ll be buying within a few days.

First, have a discussion with your two guitars. Do they both beg to be played, or is one a laggard? Once identified, let the lesser of the two know you are going to bring home an example of a guitar that will help bring the lacking guitar up to speed.
Go buy the mini-Martin. Balance will be restored and you will practice more, improving by the day!
