Confused about how I should be strumming. For example, on the app for the Bob Marley song Keep on Moving. Should I just be strumming down once when the chord flashes or should I be following a strumming pattern and just changing chords when the chord flashes?

My suggestion is:
- Start with one strum when the chord flashes (STRUM - 2 - 3 - 4)
- When #1 feels easy, add a strum in between (STRUM - 2 - STRUM - 4)
- When #2 feels easy, strum 4 times in a row (STRUM - STRUM - STRUM - STRUM)
- When #3 feels easy, add a more complex strumming pattern that sounds good to you (old faithful?)
