Grade 2 Module 8 Practice Routine Issues - no sound on videos

I’m at grade 2, module 8 (first module of grade 2). In the practice session, the songs are not playing music out loud the way they did in Grade 1. Am I having technical problems or is it set up that way? I get volume of Justine speaking in other parts of the practice session.

This is proving to be a very frustrating module. It’s just combination of things and the lack of sound certainly does not help in the practice routine. I also have the app that I paid for as well.

Where it all gets frustrating, is that you watch the Nitsuj practice and see Justin’s challenges, and it helps to see and compare your practice to his. See where he places emphasis, etc. That’s all great. But then you actually listen and want to practice the recommended songs. Well the no sound certainly sucks. So you turn to the app thinking that you can overcome this…but you can’t. Because the app doesn’t have the same songs you can see him practising to. And finally, when you do get a song that’s on the app, they’ve updated the chords and timings so that it’s again nothing like what you see on screen.

While you may think these are minor complaints, it really seems to increase my frustration vs encouraging me. I don’t think I’m alone in this, as I feel this is sort of a delicate stage in learning and it feels like we are left out. The app doesn’t really match the web version for practice either. Just very different beasts that really should be consolidated, or at least have the app have MORE rather than less on this module.

Hi all. I’ve encountered a small technical issue with the Module 8 Practice. When I finish the second to last item (repetoire practice), the website finishes the lesson rather than letting me move on to the new Stuck 3/4 songs. I then have to re-start the practice session to get to it. It still retains my stats, but just thought I would flag it for the site admin.

Hello Wang @sinostyle, My understanding of what Fanny wrote is that it is not fixed yet. They hope to fix it, but do not have a prediction of when that might happen.
