In one of the videos I watched on restringing a guitar it mentioned making the post holes face down the nexk of the guitar.
How do you get them to move? My seem to be stuck?

Do you mean the holes in the tuning pegs that you put the strings through?
These rotate slowly by turning the tuner. It normally takes a few turns of the tuner to make the hole rotate a little bit.

Lining the holes so they face the same direction as the strings ie down the neck, makes it easier to thread the string through when you are put ting on a new set. As Keith says it takes a few turns but should not be hard with the old strings removed.
