Never heard of Gwenifer Raymond but she is quick! Never seen anybody play that fast and aggressively at the same time. I probably wont be listening to her outside of this Tiny Desk but her playing is impressive. She must have about a million practice hours and counting 
I havenāt heard of her either and it sure is impressive. Her thumb is acting independently of the other fingers. The speed comes from alternating between her 1st and 2nd fingers, gives you twice as many notes as 1 finger alone.
Impressive indeed. If she keeps this up, sheāll have her own trigger in no time.

I have to agree with Tod, what sheās doing isnāt that difficult as long as youāre picking hand is fast. Sheās in an open tuning so if you watch her fretting hand sheās not doing much.
There are lots of very fast players that play fast with out being in open tuning which is a lot harder. Even harder while playing with someone else.

First video was definitely the fastest Iāve ever seen, wow! I really enjoyed the second video! To get that tone at that sleed speed requires so much control- very nice
Well that was technically impressive, but to my ears wholly unpleasant to listen to.
I think she is pretty rad.
