I love his stuff but I’m still sore after he walked off stage in Glasgow summer of 2014 due to ‘technical issues’. No apologies, no refunds. If thousands of people pay a lot of money to watch you surely as a world class professional you can ‘wing it’ a bit. Or at that level are you so up yourself that only perfection will do?

Thank you one and all for the birthday wishes. I suspect this will be the one and only reason I get compared to Clapton. Apart from the Slowhands and the fact I can be a maungy sob at times and a fully paid up member of the Grumpy Old Men club.
