Happy holidays from DyeV

Nice, festive offering!
Like your red jacket. Buy a set for the band… Kind of that Paul Reverie and the Raiders look.

All sounds pretty good. But I am thinking one could tinker with the drums a bit. They to me are a bit high, almost on the tinny side. One can add some duct tape on the underside of the heads and strap on a rag or something to kind of deaden them a bit and produce more of a thump. You could also add a pillow perhaps up against the kick to do the same sort of thing. An example of this is on a song we came up with way back as our 2nd offering. You can check out the start and then skip ahead to 1:01, where there is a drum run. That will allow you to hear what I mean.

Example Here

On the vox difference. @DavidP I think is saying to simply pull Jen up with EQ and drop the other singer down via EQ. At least experiment with that and see how it pans out.

Cheers for the New Years!

Thanks so much Dom! Sorry your holiday was stressful, but glad you were able to check it out :slightly_smiling_face:

I love that style. Can’t really name a lot of bands, but maybe remembers me B52s or Devo that someone mentioned (but only heard them once or twice at my cousin’s). I wasn’t able yet to do that muted electric guitar sound that you did, I definitely have to practice that, but the whole band together sounded just perfect!
