Bsus2: what about playing the 2nd string open? x24400

I love the Em(maj7) chord but it’s very difficult to play cleanly. My pinky finger really has to stretch to get to the 4th fret on the B string and keeping it from muting the G string is almost impossible for me. Can you give me some tips on how to practice it so I can improve on this chord?

You’re in the mood early…I don’t know how far along you are in the course and all that…but this is where you can work on your finger stretching … It is indeed quite difficult and it cost me some effort in the first weeks,
