Sounds really good to me. Clint, I’ve listened to your playing more than once and I know you’re a fine musician already, with or without AI…so I see nothing wrong if you play around and have fun with it. IMHO.
Thanks @Silvia80! I appreciate the kind words. ![]()
This is what I was thinking. I was wanting to see what you had originally and then hear what AI added.
Out of curiosity, may I ask what AI you used?
My thoughts on this were the song was very nice, but I would rather have heard your vocals on it; or at least harmonized with it.
Thanks @pkboo3! I tried a bunch of different AI apps and finally got Riffusion to do what I wanted after a lot of prompts. I used ChatGPT for the action figure.
Here’s how ChatGPT sees my wife and I together as babies:
I decided to have some fun with AI.
I think going back a ways, someone once said “this is a guitar board”. Not sure where AI fits in that mold? Is it an Fx type of deal? Does it so alter the work it becomes its own entity? I really have not thought much about it till now.

I will note one thing though. You got about 90% of what is left of the “old crew” to respond here on this post and that is cool…

The main debate on this thread has been whether it should be in the Avoyp or AI category ![]()
It definitely has more to do with guitar than some of the gardening/ motorbiking/ photography ones, which I am also in favour of. It’s nice to get to know what else makes our fellow troubadours tick ![]()
I’ve got the feeling that many of the ‘old crew’ still pop their head into the community on a regular-ish basis, just to check what’s happening, without commenting. It takes a fair bit of time to try to stay on top of things and can feel like making a singular comment draws attention to one’s absence ![]()
I for one, always enjoy seeing familiar names pop up and thank you kindly for dropping by, Brother! ![]()
Can you point the lost to this one? I did not find it in a quick look…
Thanks,
LB
Yep. If I took a song I wrote (with plenty of direction) to a producer and told him to do his best work, he would probably bring in some musicians and an engineer and then collect a check from me afterwards. In this case the producer was AI and I kept the money in my pocket. I hope this analogy helps frame the discussion a little clearer.
@LBro , did the AI do a reasonable job of delivering a decent track? How was the overall production quality and mix?
Thanks mate! I guess I was thinking there was an area for posting AI work to… I see there has been a bit of talk about it… The first place I looked for the posting area was in the sub categories for posing your offerings. Maybe someday it might appear there…

Hi CT… I hope the grove is a producing. Up north, here, stuff is getting ready for first harvest. Peas are looking good!
CT, to be honest I had just woke up and only had on one side of my cans as I was sipping some coffee. Not much of a definitive listen on this end. Of what I did hear, sounded good. If you want I can run through it again, with both cups on the old ears and see what I hear. Let me know and I will check it out.
I like music tools and AI to me is another one with some great potential. I have not dove into the deeper end of it though. But I am bumping into it via toolbox tools that are being updated to include AI in them. I get the feeling one can’t sell a product unless it has an AI sticker on it… LOL
Take care,
LB
