Just saying hello to everyone. Currently in Grade 1 Module 3. I have an Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Hummingbird, which is a lot prettier than my playing Glad to see so many here enjoying guitar; It’s such a healthy thing to do.
Whats up Albert. Welcome to the community. I am glad you found your way. I am in the USA as well. Down in the SW desert.
Lots of friendly folks in here, it is a strong community and great support. Our little corner of the guitar world is a great place to learn.
I love your avitar photo. We have a good bit of that in my neck of the desert. Although, I prefer a board to a horse my self.
Have a great weekend of guitar practicing.
Hey Thanks On time> I’m in your region too. I found that on the internet and since it’s so old it can be used.
Welcome Albert, enjoy your time here and your journey with guitar.
Welcome here Albert and I wish you a lot of fun
Greetings,Rogier
Welcome Albert! Have fun with playing and learning!
Thanks Helen and have a great day!
Welcome to the community Albert, enjoy your learning journey!
Hi Albert.
Ya found a great place to learn to play man. Justin is a very good teacher and you’ll find much support here on the forum.
Nice guitar ya got too.
I got me a Epiphone acoustic too, but not a hummingbird.
Have fun.
Hi Albert welcome to the club, you will encounter joy, anger, frustration, disappointment, but a couple of months in and you will start to find everything gets a bit easier if you get really hung up practicing put the guitar away for a few days and then come back also when practicing as soon as you get tired and start making mistakes stop because your brain will remember the errors so finish on a high and enjoy don’t get too serious
Hi HappyCat Which Epiphone do you have? Have a great day!
Thanks for the advice Guitarman63. I think it’s good advice too! Hope you are having a great weekend!
Thanks Beatup6String - hope you’re enjoying your guitar!
Hello Albert & Welcome!!!
For those new to guitar, I recommend getting a stand or wall hanger if you haven’t already done so. Being able to pick up & play when you only have a few minutes adds so much to your progress… I like to play while my coffee’s brewing!!!
Enjoy your Hummingbird & keep things FUN!!!
Tod in Albuquerque New Mexico
maybe I will take my own advice one day LOL
Hi Albert, welcome to the community forum. Lots of older folk here learning guitar. I’m 69 and still learning. Have fun playing songs on your Epi Hummingbird.
Welcome Albert, I’m currently on module 9 grade 2. Doing it in a slow and deliberate manner over 15 months so far
Fact
You have to have a guitar handy. Make it easy to pick up.
I just think you made a great choice with your hummingbird. I’ve had no issues with mine. They play good, they sound good, and they look great too, .
There’s nothing to not like.
I’ve got a DR-500MCE acoustic/electric and a China made casino. Love them both!
Enjoy your time here on the forum Albert.
Your Hummingbird will be perfect for you.
Hi Albert nice to meet you, my friend i hope you hang around for a long time cheers HEC
