Hi there, been playing for about 10 years but still a bit rough around the edges, an engineer and have a bit of a guitar collection, my telecaster is preferred guitar. Looking forward to some live interaction with Justin and the team and the other students…
Hi David,
Welcome here and I wish you a lot of fun
Greetings,Rogier
Hi David, welcome to the community forum.
Welcome to the forum David
Welcome David!
Hello David & Welcome!!!
You’re in the right place to file down those rough bits! Justin’s Method has really helped me to become more consistent & fill a lot of gaps in my music knowledge! Love your profile pic… it’d be convenient to have a built-in pick pocket!!! Wouldn’t lose ‘em in the laundry!!!
By the way, gear pics are always nice… also what amp (or amps) do you play through?
Have fun!!!

Well, hello, David and Timo, welcome to the community

Welcome David to this wonderful community. . I’m guessing that’s not you in the profile picture because that’s not a Strat.
Welcome David
Thank you for noticing, hopefully I’ve updated the guitar in the image to be a strat…
Hey David, great always to hear from another Aussie. We visited Jervis bay on our big lap a couple of years ago. If you make it down to Bermagui, there’s a cafe there run by a musician and the weekly open mic is just superb. Walk up acts as well as a lengthy jam. I’m based in Northern NSW with a view of Mt Warning behind and the border ranges in front.
Hi Tony,
thanks for getting back, café sounds interesting will definitely check it out when down that way.
Lovely area you are in…
Hey David welcome to the community. Its a great place with a fine group of string pickers and strummers.
Enjoy and have fun.
Hey Timu
Welcomes to you as well.
Hello David !
Hello David.
Welcome to JustinGuitar and this fantastic community. Please take your time to look around and get to know the wider space. View by Categories.
We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. Members help and support one another and a friendly, positive attitude underpins this. We hope that all - young or old, experienced or new players - adopt and foster the pay-it-forward ethos that Justin personifies and embedded all those years ago when he started the website and forum.
Also, please make sure to read the Community Etiquette announcement for some important information and guidance.
If you want to record yourself to show your progress and / or seek feedback there is our ever popular Community Recordings section.
Behind the scenes there is a small and dedicated team who work to make the JustinGuitar experience as good as it can be. Check out the Onboarding sessions provided by Fanny. Justin also has a small group of Approved Teachers he recommends for people wanting 1-to-1 lessons to supplement his courses - of which I am privileged to be one.
That is plenty to be going on with. It is a vast community space so if you need help as you find your way around just ask.
Cheers. Richard

Hello Richard,
thank you for the response , I have recorded myself prior to the course although I have not uploaded as yet.
Will be in contact if I have any specific issues…
Cheers David
Good Day David, or good evening for you as I write this.
JustinGuitar site and the community are great, I found it only 10 months ago, shortly after I restarted my guitar journey after 20 years away. I have not looked back since, does Grade 1-3 and started BLIM3 a couple of weeks ago.
Lots of support and friendly people here.
Enjoy.
