Hello from Ludo, french guy

Hi there
In response to my first post, several of you encouraged me to introduce myself…So here we are. I’m 47. I started guitar :guitar:long time ago but without any progress for many years. In 2018 I started to follow on line courses and it was great but at some point I was stucked with same level/songs.
Now I’m starting a new journey in my guitar practice, including embellissements, improvisation, more complex songs etc…and I dream to play with a band🤷‍♂️
Hoping that Justin site and some community would help

I started a youtube channel by the way https://youtube.com/@frenchguitarjourney?si=F7fjIZJN3AO_zWCz

Have a good day & see you

Lu

Right Ludo.

Thats cool you already have an idea of what you want to do. You will find all of that cool stuff here. Heck you might even find some band mates.

Welcome to the community.

Hi ludo we’re best community most welcome :infinity:

Welcome Ludo! We all get stuck sometimes in our guitar journey. When that happens, this community is a great place to ask for suggestions to become un-stuck. Folks here generously share experience and knowledge.

Welcome, Ludo.

Two years ago, I had no idea what to do and now I’m playing lots of songs. I’d say you’re well on the way to be able to play with a band. Glad you joined.

Salut Ludo!

Nice to have you here!

A tantôt, Dominique

hi Ludo

Welcome and I wish you every success that you want.

As I’m over 60 the saying you’re never to old to start something new applies. You in your late 40s so perfect this guitar playing. When I’ve sought help everyone has been brilliant and offered really help information. So don’t worry about asking what might seem a stupid question. Most have already met that challenge and suggest a way forward.

good luck
