Welcome Peter

Welcome and enjoy!

Hello Peter & Welcome!

What part of Colorado do you call home? My wife & I have family in the Ft. Collins area… they’d like us to retire up there but the winter months are a bit brutal!
At this stage of life (in our 60s) it’s not as easy to shake off the cold! We always end up with a case of the sniffles  when we visit at Christmas time!
Best of luck with Blim!!!

Tod from New Mexico

Hi Tod, I live in the ski country about two hours outside of Denver, in a little town nobody heard of called Tabernash, pop. 431. I’ve been a part- or full-time resident since 1998. Love it! But like you, my girlfriend and I would like to find a warmer place to hang in the winter. Look forward to exchanging more. Peter

Beautiful wildlife! I live in the mountains, and I often am confronted by wildlife that is not particularly friendly, like moose. But they are indeed beautiful.

Thank you. My retirement eliminates all excuses I might otherwise have for not making great strides in my playing!

I have a condo on the very north side of Fraser. About as close to Tabernash as you can get (until the new development is complete . Just south of CR8 on the Fraser River.
We are a bit too short of a walk to the Fraser Distillery…

Howdy neighbor! Are you at the Blues Festival this weekend? Can’t wait for Little Feat this afternoon.

No, had to install a dishwasher. I also avoid coming up for events. Too much traffics and crowds. Enjoy! It sounds like a fun lineup!

Little Feat is a favorite. Hope to meet up someday. Peter

Hi Peter.
Welcome to JustinGuitar and this fantastic community. Please take your time to look around and get to know the wider space. View by Categories.

We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. Members help and support one another and a friendly, positive attitude underpins this. We hope that all - young or old, experienced or new players - adopt and foster the pay-it-forward ethos that Justin personifies and embedded all those years ago when he started the website and forum.

Also, please make sure to read the Community Etiquette announcement for some important information and guidance.

If you want to record yourself to show your progress and / or seek feedback there is our ever popular Community Recordings section.

Behind the scenes there is a small and dedicated team who work to make the JustinGuitar experience as good as it can be. Check out the Onboarding sessions provided by Fanny. Justin also has a small group of Approved Teachers he recommends for people wanting 1-to-1 lessons to supplement his courses - of which I am privileged to be one.

That is plenty to be going on with. It is a vast community space so if you need help as you find your way around just ask.

Cheers. Richard
