Hello All, I have had a brief stint with guitar for 3 months a decade ago. I am 47 years old and am staring again now. I have two guitars: La Patrie - Etude classical guitar (Sophie :)) and a Blue Fender Squire sonic (Elektra :)). Sophie is a bit difficult to handle, but her tone is loud and sweet, Elektra is smooth and she can sing as you desire. Got the inspiration to name my guitars from B.B.King. I am also totally deaf on my left ear since my childhood. But I love music and enjoy the ride so far. I recently got the JG app and almost completed Grade 1. I had so much fun learning and am sure will continue to do so. Wishing the best to all.
Hello Pradeep,
Warmest greetings from Warsaw, Poland (Many countries from all continents are represented here, which is fantastic). Good to know you have been fascinated with learning guitar, and I’m sure with some help from this community you’re gonna make progress. You have great instruments to play, which is always a good thing.
Anyway, it’s great to have you here. I’m looking forward to listening to your first recordings, as most of us like to share their music with the community, regardless of the player’s respective skill level.
Good luck,
Regrads

Hi Pradeep, welcome to the community forum.
Welcome Brother!
Recording yourself is so important. You can learn so much about where you can improve just by watching yourself. Later you can look back and see how far you have gotten. Good Work!
Welcome aboard this ship Pradeep. You will enjoy it here at the community. It is very possitive and helpful. It is great you are already video taping your self and posting. That is a great start. Its good to see and always nice to put a face and guitar to a persons post.
I look forward to see your posts in the future

My official hello to you Pradeep …
Welcome to JustinGuitar and this fantastic community. Please take your time to look around and get to know the wider space. View by Categories.
We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. Members help and support one another and a friendly, positive attitude underpins this. We hope that all - young or old, experienced or new players - adopt and foster the pay-it-forward ethos that Justin personifies and embedded all those years ago when he started the website and forum.
Also, please make sure to read the Community Etiquette announcement for some important information and guidance.
If you want to record yourself to show your progress and / or seek feedback there is our ever popular Community Recordings section.
Behind the scenes there is a small and dedicated team who work to make the JustinGuitar experience as good as it can be. Check out the Onboarding sessions provided by Fanny. Justin also has a small group of Approved Teachers he recommends for people wanting 1-to-1 lessons to supplement his courses.
That is plenty to be going on with. It is a vast community space so if you need help as you find your way around just ask.
Cheers. Richard
