I’m ready to take my playing to the intermediate level and hopefully beyond with the help of other players in the area. I’ve been playing sporadically since 2021 but would consider myself only at an advanced beginner stage. Please feel to reach out if you’re interested in learning to play and learn with others because I am too! I’m 52yrs old, male and live in Tucson, AZ. BONUS! I repair guitars for a living so I can help you with equipment issues! Thanks for reading. -Steve
Welcome to the community Steve. You’ll find a kind/generous group here to share in your journey. Lot’s of young and old and in-between guitar souls to hobnob with.
Welcome to the forum Steve
Welcome to the community. This is a great place. Lots of positive vibes and cool people.
I am a local here in Tucson too. I would be totally down to jam with someone. Sound like we are sorta close to the same place and same age. Your are probobly better than me, I have only been playing for 18 months but I have been hitting it crazy hard since I started so, yeah. I have also have a fair amount of experiance playing music with others. Honestly just looking to have some fun with another guitar player, learn and jam.
No matter what it would be cool, better than a metronome thats for sure. Electric or Acoustic, whatever, I am down.
Nice to see someone from Southern Arizona on here post up. There are a couple in Phoenix but no one from Pima county.
Anyway welcome aboard. Glad you found the community.
Welcome Steve! It’s a great place here, I wish you lots of fun with learning and jamming!
Hi Steve,
Welcome here and I wish you a lot of fun
Greetings,Rogier
Steve, Welcome to the community forum. Grade 3 (Beginner plus) and the grade 2 and 3 song lesson videos helped me to bridge the gap between beginner and intermediate. Have fun learning songs.
thanks for the warm welcome. it’s a great feeling to be part of a community of other artists

Welcome to JustinGuitar and this fantastic community. Please take your time to look around and get to know the wider space. View by Categories.
We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. Members help and support one another and a friendly, positive attitude underpins this. We hope that all - young or old, experienced or new players - adopt and foster the pay-it-forward ethos that Justin personifies and embedded all those years ago when he started the website and forum.
Also, please make sure to read the Community Etiquette announcement for some important information and guidance.
If you want to record yourself to show your progress and / or seek feedback there is our ever popular Community Recordings section.
Behind the scenes there is a small and dedicated team who work to make the JustinGuitar experience as good as it can be. Check out the Onboarding sessions provided by Fanny. Justin also has a small group of Approved Teachers he recommends for people wanting 1-to-1 lessons to supplement his courses.
That is plenty to be going on with. It is a vast community space so if you need help as you find your way around just ask.
Cheers. Richard
