Hello! I’m Rob. I’m 32 and live in Western Massachusetts.
I started Justin Guitar in early pandemic times, where I picked up an acoustic guitar. Justin was a big help from the start in teaching fundamentals.
Last year my life got a bit rough for a while. That time has passed, but it took a lot of work to get there. To help get through it, I brought myself an electric guitar and rapidly took off playing 60-90 minutes a day. So while I was playing a good bit before, in the last 18 months, guitar has become a major anchor, huge stress relief, and creative outlet.
My current guitar goals are to continue to find people to play music with, work on being able to write songs, and grow in my improvisation and rhythm guitar skills.
Why am I here specifically? I want to start talking to other people more about guitar and music, and have something to do online that is guitar related that isn’t just researching which guitar pedals are on sale
Thanks for listening, thanks for understanding - look forward to getting to know you all a little bit better.
