I have been playing guitar for about 15 years now.
I play a lot of pop music.
I play mostly acoustic guitar for the moment and I try to play fingerstyle songs as well as accompaniments to singers.
Fingerstyle is beautiful because it keeps acoustic guitar playing fun and you can play alone while keeping it interesting because the melody is incorporated in the playing. It also helps you get good quickly as the finger positions are sometimes tricky.
I am getting more interested than before to the electric guitar thanks to the advancement of technology. I am thinking of the multieffet pedals such as the boss me 90 and also the quality of the electric guitars out there. I particularly like the PRS SE McCarty 594.
I have found a lot of inspiration in Justin’s tutorials online.
Wishing everyone a fulfilling journey with the help of this beautiful instrument.
Welcome Laurent, good to have you aboard.
Love of music, fingerpicking, and a PRS SE, means you will be nicely set-up for JG & JGC to feed your nspiration.
As for pedals, I haven’t a clue. There’s plenty of views about gear in the forum, and there’s an abundance of 2nd hand gear on the market; bought during 20 -21 Lockdowns.
