as promised during the last OM I am more than happy (actually no words could describe this feeling!) to say āHello Worldā on behalf of my beautiful new born son.
On October 22nd around noon I heard the most beautiful noise there is on earth: the first cry of my baby - it was quite impressive how loud it was for such a tiny human being. Funnily enough, he came the exact same size and weight I was at my birth.
On Friday, we were released from hospital and now getting used to our new life. It probably will take a while, though.
Until now, Vincent is quite a relaxed and easy going dude with a good appetite (thus keeping me quite busy all day). Only the nights are getting rocky when the little boy tries to process what has happend the whole day and still getting used to this world outside. So my husband and I are quite sleep-deprived, but still as happy as can be. So all in all quite normal.
I didnāt play guitar for him, yet, but really looking forward to it and his reaction. But so far, there are so many things to take care of and getting used to, it probably will take a few days more until then.
With that, I also want to thank you, good peeps of the JG-community! So many of you were taking interest in my pregnancy and upcoming birth, even reaching out directly and asking how I am. So sorry I didnāt reply personally, yet! Itās something I appreciate so much, how much we all care for each other and thatās why I thought of sharing the biggest moment of my life with all of you.
And now, Iām trying to catch some sleepā¦ wish me good luck!
Enjoy this time with your family and thank your for updating us Iām sure he will love the music you play for him once you are all able to sleep a bit more
Congratulations Lisa on your beautiful new little boy. I remember that sound well from when my own kids were born. Enjoy this special time and welcome to the world Vincent!
Wow huge congrats Lisa, what a cracker ! Immediately rolls me back 44 yrs to when my daughter was born. Then I think shoot am I getting too old for this. Then remember age is a feeling not a number ! Big hugs to the family !
