I understand part of the course was the history of the Blues, did any of these Guitarist and songs get mentioned in Justin’s videos?

• Sam McGee – Single Boy
• Mississippi John Hurt – My Creole Belle
• Big Bill Broonzy – Guitar Shuffle
• Reverend Gary Davis – Candy Man

If you are wondering where this list came from here is the answer. I was sorting out some guitar related paperwork and came across my copy of a BBC Publication called “Hold Down a Chord Finger Picking Folk Guitar Styles” which went with a programme in 1969, (unfortunately I remember watching this as teenager). It says folk but looking them up I think it would be better described as country blues. I have mentioned the publication in early post.

Definitely some country Blues going on there Michael.
Hurt and Broonzy have definitely hit the Blim radar. I think RGD as well but there is so much content its hard to keep on point !

You are right there Toby I have taken a bit of advice from you and keep returning to the community for a long-earned break and to stay involved like you said we should still remember to keep returning here I think it is a valued point the community is our first home cheers HEC
