As I’ve mentioned in the title my name’s Ruben. I live in Belgium and I’m 27 years old. I’ve been learning with justin’s guitar course for about a year and a half but It’s my first time checking in to the JG community.
I’m at grade 4 in the course but I’m revisiting grade 3 since it has new material since last time I did grade 3. I’m in no rush and enjoying the journey so far.
I’m mostly into classic rock, indie rock, punk, grunge and metal. Some favorites are CCR, Metallica, Pearl jam, Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood and Nirvana. But I enjoy Queen, The Bee Gees, Abba etc… just as much.

From your list of music it seems that you fundamentally know and feel that good music and good songs are good, no matter the fashion, the style, the genre. You can find that too by learning to play songs from across many genres. Songs that you might not necessarily listen to or even think that you would like can reveal their true qualities when you learn to play them.
