Welcome to the community. When you first start it seems really hard and it is. But the reward you get for sticking with it is really amazing. Hang in there, if it’s not worth it yet, it will be soon. Make playing for 15 minutes every day happen and it will work out.

Hey Terry, welcome! Or welcome back I should say. Post a video or sound byte of you playing. It’s a great way to get positive feedback on your progress. Keep at it, enjoy it, and be sure to record yourself, review that recording, and save it to compare yourself playing in a month or so. You’ll see a vast improvement, I’m sure. Happy strumming and picking!

Thank you, might need to create a secondary Youtube channel for that rather than my main one. Unless I can make videos in other ways. Also will need to find the best way of positioning my phone/camera etc.

Mostly the 12 string video was hard to see you playing/both hands all the time. You can probably station your phone/camera where it is. Just move back a little bit. I think that should do it. Not sure if that would effect the sound though, being further from the mic. You may have that separate and can move it with you.
