Hi everybody from Quebec, Canada!

Hi everybody! Really nice to meet you all. I’m in for maybe two weeks and I’m flabbergasted by this great site, this organisation, the teaching methodology, all those tools, Justin dedication and pedagogy great skills and all those people, you guys who are animated by this same love of music and love of guitar. This is great !

This being said, I’m 64. I’m from Canada, Quebec, Île d’Orléans. The little island just beside Quebec city. First, a year ago, I thought I could try to make my own music (I already had a midi controler I plug in my computer with a Logic software) for the generics of my professional YouTube chanel. So I did my teenage dream come true and bought a blonde Casino. First it was just for those videos. But soon I got hooked and for now a year I listen to guitarists, dream of buying new guitars and pedals, pick up tunes so I can reproduce them on my YouTube guitar channel, … , all those compulsive things an obsessive guy being hooked can do …

So, after a year I thought « lets do that (more) seriously » . And here I am. At the very beginning. Exploring this site and app. Practicing with the practice tool, playing Give peace a chance with the app, etc. Man do I love it!

I just wanted to say hello. Also say bravo for this so nice, cool and camarade attitude everybody seem to have. This is very important. People can be very rough on the Web and here, I encounter a bunch of people who are very nice with each other, polite, compassionate, supportive. A bunch of people who have the same passion. Love it!

English is not my mother tongue.

Have a good day

Hi SuzieQ! Thanks for asking. I love this guitar. Love the sound. Even though the 2022 Casino is certainly not the same it was in the 6ties… Still…. Isn’t she lovely ?!

Hi Luc, welcome. Nice guitar. Justin Guitar has everything you need for your guitar learning. You can complement it with other sources as you need but the basics and beyond Justin has them covered.

Hey there - welcome to the Community!

I’m from Montreal - absolutely love it! I’m from Justin’s team, so don’t hesitate to reach out if ever you need to.

Cheers!

Hi Larynejg! I just got your post between practicing my perfect slow chords and Boys 'round here. I love this community. Motivating. For the last days, I was stucked, turning in circles with this A chord and suffering index and since yesterday I found ways to practice it. Ways to approach it, to get to the point and now feeling I’m getting out of the mud. The sun is shining back again. Have a good evening! :grinning:   :star_struck:
