Hey all, wanted to chime in and say hi to everyone. At 55, I’ve finally decided to learn both the guitar after trying it as a teen and not making much progress, but also to learn ukulele just because it’s fun! I started Justin’s beginner course using the phone app a couple of weeks ago and so far so good (except for sore fingers haha). We’ll see if this old dog can learn a few new tricks, but hoping to have a fun time no matter what. Happy New Year to you all!

Welcome to the community. I started at the age of 53 and 10 years later I’m so glad I stuck with it through the sore fingers and such. Happy new year

Howdy, BigTex! I started at 54, 2 years ago and I am loving it. I am not too specifically “good” yet because I have had several starts and stops, but it feels good and there is no deadline pressure so it’s all good. You have found an incredible learning program with Justin and a tremendous group of inspirational, supportive people in this community. So, welcome!

Welcome Bolivar or do we call you Big T? Having fun is a good motivation for learning. Stick with Justin’s program and you’ll learn a heap along the way.
