Hi Everyone I’m John from London. Finally got around to joining the community. I’m definitely ‘mature’ at 69. Been playing for around 6 years using Justin’s great lessons. Finally learnt that you can just enjoy playing and best not to get frustrated if things don’t happen as quickly as you want. Into fingerpicking and blues at the moment. Might change tomorrow! Look forward to connecting with you all.
Welcome!
Glad to hear you’ve learnt that things will often happen at their own pace, and not to get frustrated about them.
Hello and welcome from another “mature” guitarist.

Welcome, John. Ah, to not (excuse my split infinitive) be frustrated, a great thing! Hopefully, I get there once I get all these open chords down and a lot more practice in.
