Hi everyone. I’m Alan, I’m 32, and from Ireland. I first picked up the guitar when i was 16, but never progressed far beyond the very basics. I’ve always wanted to learn guitar, but with my lack of progress I’d come to the conclusion that it just wasn’t for me.
I discovered Justin’s lessons through Youtube about 18 months ago, and for the first time started to feel like I was making progress. I’m currently in between beginner grades two and three. I’m enjoying playing more than ever and looking forward to getting started on Grade 3.
Welcome Alan, you have come to the right place to learn how to play your guitar. Keep to the lessons and take your time, and you’ll get better and better. Just remember to have fun doing it😁.
Cheers from Australia
Dave
Welcome Alan! Your journey sounds similar to mine, although you’ve committed yourself 10 years younger than I did, good on you!! I wish you all the best with your journey and looking forward to hearing more about it as you progress
Hi Alan,
Welcome and I wish you a lot of fun And now there are no more reasons not to learn how to play the guitar properly, but you have already found that out yourself
Greetings,Rogier
Welcome Alan!
Wishing you loads of fun on your guitar learning journey!
Best wishes for you and say “Hi” to the Emerald Isle - one of my all time favourite countries/islands to go to, because of the lovely people, stunning landscapes and traditional irish music.
Alan, welcome to the community. You are at a place in your guitar journey where you can play a lot of songs, so have fun playing songs at the grades 1 and 2 level and learning songs at Grade 3 level.
