Hi from Alan in Colchester UK

Hi All

I’ve been dipping in and out of Justin’s great guitar lesson offerings for years.

I’m very bad at practice and lessons but have learnt, and forgotten, a good number of the songs over this time.

I cant believe I’ve only just got awareness of the community! I watched the Christmas open mic session today and was inspired.

I would really love to collaborate but not sure that’s going to work for me online as i dont have the facilities.

Will be great to meet some of you online.

Cheers

Alan

Hello, @alanfinlayson nice to have you on board! Even happier that the special christmas OM got ya back here! As long as you are getting some practice time within the week, you will progress. It’s a good thing to have definate practice sessions within the week, at least enougj to keep you rolling forward!

Good luck! Rock on! Sociable!!! And peace out!! :v: :fist_left: :sunglasses:

Hello Alan - a warm welcome, after all this time, to the JG community.

Oh, that old and familiar story.
Many folk have been there, done that, wore the t-shirt so often is is raggy and threadbare.
There’s one way to address those issues and one person who can do it.
I suggest go back to the beginner courses as a novice would and train yourself in good learning and practice habits, re-build your guitar foundations with solid foundations and, of course, all along the way, learn songs.
Cheers
