Thank you. Apart from a few ‘followings’ on Instagram (including Justinguitar), I’ve not really been drawn to ‘social media’ before so this is all pretty new to me. This however, for me feels different (in a good way) and I’m looking forward to being part of the community. But first I’ll definitely need to (as you put it) “look around and get to know the wider space”. Cheers ![]()
Yep, I know Mickleover (Littleover is where I grew up… small world) and I definitely know ‘Let Me Roll It’. The lecturer clearly had a good taste in music ![]()

Welcome among us David, it’s great to have you aboard! Take your time to have a look around…as I always say we’re really a lot but it’s not difficult to find new guitar friends!
Hi David, welcome! This is a great wee community and very supportive. I too am at the late beginner / early intermediate stage. I had the same Journey as you - via playing Bass in bands / doing demos in studios, waaay before home recording was an affordable thing.
I don’t know if you have done any of the webinar lessons, I’d highly recommended them
looking forward to seeing you around the discussion forums!
Hi Gordon, thank you for the warm welcome, I envy the experience you’ve had (playing in a band, demos etc.). I often 'kick myself ’ wishing I’d carried on playing in my teens. Buy never mind that, I’ve got the opportunity now to make up for lost time, albeit a few decades worth!
I’ve not been on any webinars yet but definitely will do soon. ![]()
