Hey! I’m happy to join such an active guitar & music community.
I’ve been playing guitar time to time since the 2010s, but I had loooong pauses that ate a lot of my progress. Performed live as a guitarist a few times in 2015-2016 in a band, but a dynamic career change forced me to deprioritize music.
For the last 1-2 years, I decided to re-enable my guitar journey and add some vocals to it; however, my work schedule and the situation overall are not supporting this cause much
To force myself into a more compelling progress, I’ve decided to join your community and the course. Looking forward to finishing intermediary/advanced JG lessons and joining the open mic events
If anyone is traveling to Kyiv, I would love to show you around & meet for coffee/beer
Hi Roman
Welcome back
JG is great for motivation and learning and this community is very friendly, helpful and supportive too
Looking forward to hearing more from you and seeing you in the OMs
It is really nice to meet you Roman, and I would love to visit your country, however I would have to find Artem first, he is a good friend of mine through this community, and now so are you cheers HEC UK
Nice to meet you too, Hec.
Idk maybe you should ask him about it , he more than well knows (it’s guitar related). @metramaks
Maybe I’ll make a whole new post thread about it.
Well I don’t want to bother this post. Welcome again Roman, and nice to meet you again, Hec.
Hello Roman.
Welcome to JustinGuitar and this fantastic community. Please take your time to look around and get to know the wider space. View by Categories.
We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. Members help and support one another and a friendly, positive attitude underpins this. We hope that all - young or old, experienced or new players - adopt and foster the pay-it-forward ethos that Justin personifies and embedded all those years ago when he started the website and forum.
Also, please make sure to read the Community Etiquette announcement for some important information and guidance.
If you want to record yourself to show your progress and / or seek feedback there is our ever popular Community Recordings section.
Behind the scenes there is a small and dedicated team who work to make the JustinGuitar experience as good as it can be. Check out the Onboarding sessions provided by Fanny.
Justin also has a small group of Approved Teachers he recommends for people wanting 1-to-1 lessons to supplement his courses - of which I am privileged to be one.
That is plenty to be going on with. It is a vast community space so if you need help as you find your way around just ask.
Cheers. Richard
