Hi Lizzie & Welcome!!!

I hope you have a wonderful time learning how to play guitar!!! So cool for you to be starting so young… I always offer a bit of advice to people just starting out…

get a stand or a wall hanger so that your guitar is handy & not in a case in the closet. That way, when you have a few minutes or so, you can spend the time playing & not getting it out & then putting it away!

Keep it FUN!!!

Hii! Its nice to meet you! I have a guitar stand in my room, its proven really handy! Thanks for the tip

Welcome Lizzie. It’s great that you’ve discovered Justin’s structured course when you’re still young and able to soak up knowledge and skills like a sponge! At your age you should be able to get through the beginner grades pretty quickly even though it’s important to remember two important maxims: first is “it’s a marathon not a race” (in other words haste is counter-productive) and secondly, just as important, “practice makes permanent” (in other words, start as slow as needed to make sure you can play the chord, progression, melody, technique, or whatever, perfectly , before speeding up)

Cheers!
