Hello All! I’m Mohan. came to know about Justin guitar course thorough CLAUDE AI few weeks ago. And been following it since. Just complete module 4 from beginner grade I, and doing my best. but I’ve been facing trouble to find chords my old songs in my language. No ones made any videos of the chords of the songs… since it’s been troublesome to find them. apart from that it’s been great. I bought the guitar when I was 24… and didn’t get the chance to play it… I thought it’s not for me. but this course proved otherwise. Thanks Justin!
Welcome to the community. Look forward to hearing more from you
Welcome to the community! You’ve definitly came to the right place. ![]()
About those chords, isn’t there some sound recognition software (can’t remember the name right now) that can listen to a song, chord, note, and give you a visual?
HI Mohan
Nice to meet you! ![]()
You are in the right place for learning guitar with Justin’s lessons.
This community is very supportive and helpful too
Looking forward to hearing more from you

This may be the opposite of what you’re thinking of @GrytPipe. Oolimo program let’s you place notes on a fret board and then names and plays the chord for you.
That is indeed the opposite of what i was thinking. ![]()
It seems to be a very helpfull tool, but it needs the listener to correctly identify the chord beforehand.
And frankly, if you know the notes, you know the chord too. No software needed ,imho.
Hi Mohan,
Welcome here and I wish you a lot of fun ![]()
You could post a song you like in a topic here, ask and someone might be willing to figure it out for you… Of course, you could ( should) always start working it out yourself as soon as you start in my eyes, but that’s easier for some people than for others… but you never know until you try…
and try asking too is a possibility ![]()
I hope you find a way ![]()
Greetings,Rogier
Welcome!! Are you talking about learning Bollywood songs or more traditional stuff? I know there are many Indian students using the site and I’m sure some will know where you can find the chords to songs you love!
Lets see what the community here can find! ![]()
Welcome Mohan, you’ll do well with this course. It’s just amazing. Not sure what songs you’re looking for, but if you list them, someone may know where to get the chord sheets or even have them.
Hello Mohan & Welcome!!!
You’re in the right place to learn how to play guitar!!! It’s such a challenging yet fun Journey with lots of peaks, valleys & plateaus along the way!!! For most of us here, the joy & fun of making music far outweighs any frustration that happens on the road to getting better at guitar!
I wish you a lot if fun & happiness!!!
Namaste!

Hello Mohan.
Welcome to JustinGuitar and this fantastic community.
Please take your time to look around and get to know the wider space. View by Categories.
We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. Members help and support one another and a friendly, positive attitude underpins this. We hope that all - young or old, experienced or new players - adopt and foster the pay-it-forward ethos that Justin personifies and embedded all those years ago when he started the website and forum.
Also, please make sure to read the Community Etiquette announcement for some important information and guidance.
If you want to record yourself to show your progress and / or seek feedback there is our ever popular Community Recordings section.
Behind the scenes there is a small and dedicated team who work to make the JustinGuitar experience as good as it can be. Check out the Onboarding sessions provided by Fanny.
Justin also has a small group of Approved Teachers he recommends for people wanting 1-to-1 lessons to supplement his courses - of which I am privileged to be one.
We also host regular (virtual) JustinGuitar Community Open Mic events for community members.
That is plenty to be going on with. It is a vast community space so if you need help as you find your way around just ask.
Cheers. Richard
