Hey everybody. I’m 42 years old and a complete beginner. I’ve always wanted to play the guitar but never actually committed to it. I got my first guitar on Thursday and have been having fun going through the beginner course. I can already see improvement between my practices over the last few days.

Hey Mike, welcome to the community. I remember my family’s first visit to Texas when I was 7 years old, we all came home wearing cowboy hats. Great to hear you are finally committing to it. Like you, I always wanted to play but didn’t get serious about it till 10 years ago when I was 53. It’s so worth it, living the dream instead of just dreaming the dream. keep at it, you won’t regret it. Justin guitar made a huge difference to me when I was first learning.
