Highway to Hell

Here is another one that I have done many times, but had to be done with the new SG! Please keep the feedback coming and I hope everyone is having a great week. Almost Friday!

Great tone and nice guitar Tosh.

Something not quite right with the timing & muting on that iconic riff though.

Tosh

Well played: a dynamic, driven and accurate performance; even the ‘heavy’ stuff benefits from such well voiced chords.

What a great tone from the guitar, Tosh. Well played.

Thanks. That’s the new orange amp. It gets very crunchy!

Sounded perfect Tosh! Humbuckers growling nicely on that one.

Sounds good, Tosh. I don’t recall hearing you play electric, so for me, it was good to see that different side of you. Good job!

Good tone on this one Tosh! I bet the wife loved it? Maybe she was at the store? LOL Great job and sounds the part for sure.

You know, these thing are a long ways from your Cash roots, but I like it and as Pam said, it is a good side of your skillset.

True about the Cash roots thing, so I’m trying to hang on to both for sure. I’m actually working on an acoustic cover of Sunday Morning Coming Down now, since it’s 1 year since Kris Kristofferson passed away, and Cash has a great cover of that one. So that will be the next one.

It sounds really great to me Tosh

Hi Tosh,

This is much more in my ball park!
Really nailed the chorus part and overall tone.
The main riff - a little more work on the palm muting?

Enjoyed it - but it’s a criminal offence not to do at least 1 duck walk when playing like Angus.
