How can I get the Justin time trainer app to play shuffle / swung 8ths?

I can’t work out any way to get Justin’s TimeTrainer app to play sounds for shuffled or swung eights. The 4:2 pattern does straight eights and the triplets don’t let me ā€˜mute’ the ā€˜trip’. Does anyone know a way to make this work e.g. a config setting of some kind?

I’ve seen other threads suggest the SoundBrenner app but I really like all the other features in TimeTrainer  and it supports the free stuff on the site.

I get to respond to my own question!

I was lucky enough to have a private lesson with Justin recently, and asked him as we were wrapping up. He said that the ratio between long and short subdivision (called the ā€œshuffle zoneā€ in BG2 Module 13) isn’t a precise number, can vary from blues to blues, and rather than practicing to a metronome with one setting or a few different settings, I should keep listening to lots of blues, play along to different tracks and absorb the timing that way.
