How Gibson Acoustic Guitar are built

I like the part where the guy says Gibson guitars have always been the choice of disrupter artists or as Iā€™ve always said
Gibson - Bad boys
Martin - Good olā€™ boys
Taylor - Chiorboys.

Yeah made me chuckle
I see you diplomatically missed Fender off that list :scream:

Thanks for posting, Toby!

Does anyone know if Gibson does factory tours in Bozeman? Iā€™m thinking about a road trip this summer on my motorcycle to Montanaā€¦ itā€™d be fun to see this stuff in person!

(not looking to hijack a Gibson thread, but ā€¦)

Iā€™d suggest you check out the Driftwood Guitars channel on YT. Very generous sharing of build techniques. The recent ā€œfull build in 30 minutesā€ is a great overview (and the resulting instrument is  gorgeous), and the ā€œ3,000 year old guitarā€ goes into a huge amount of depth. Loads of good viewing.

Maybe start a new topic on that one.
