Worth the viewing time, Michael. Thanks! There’s a string factory in Nashville, TN called String Joy. I’ve seen a video of their process, but it looks like they use pre-spun wire. I asked for a tour when I was there, but they declined, saying it was due to safety issues. Their strings are slightly more than D’Addario’s, but supposed to be high quality and long lasting. I’ve not tried them as yet myself though.
