I’ve been using my iPad’s camera app to casually record a song every day for purposes of self-feedback, documenting progress, and sharing with friends. It’s been really helpful, but now I want to step things up a bit and get better quality audio, especially a better balance of guitar and vocals. I bought a Presonus AudioBox iOne (billed as compatible with iPad), which has two input jacks, and set it up with a microphone for the vocals and a line to my acoustic guitar’s pickup. The problem, however, is that when I record with the camera app, it only picks up the vocal microphone. I know that the iPad can handle two channels at once from the AudioBox, because that setup works with the iPad version of Garage Band.
Is there a video camera app that can handle two-channel audio input? Or is there a simpler way to do what I’m trying to do? I would love some helpful advice!
Thanks,Mick
