why cut them, I know there old, but say you didn’t have time to order new ones or they are running late and one string snaps you wouldn’t be able to play at all
My Dean Zelinsky Tagliare is a Strat-type. When you’re taking them off, there’s a pretty permanent coil in the end that was around the capstan. It’s a bit of a pain to get that end through the little hole under the bridge to the back of the guitar.
