Will you tell me more about this? I also see famous Dutch people

Tbh, I’m not quite sure, Rogier
I’ve been following the Bullfight for years and am a fb ‘friend’ with Thomas van der Vliet. (I’m pretty sure I shared some of their music with you before). I received a message out of the blue asking for a b/w video clip of my face. We could choose to dress/do as we liked.
It’s nice to be asked by a band you love to contribute even a tiny thing :grinning:
All part of a promotion for his new book/album.
I wish I understood Dutch…

I have to leave now and won’t be back until late and I’ll probably be busy tomorrow… but if you want it translated just let me know …

Does this mean you now have 10:45 mins of fame to come ? Man what exiting 2:19 minutes and then only to be shouted ! Shame on you.

All seriousness, the artist was new to me but that song had some Diggeresque appeal. Easy on the ears. Consider your autograph book signed.

Why would you go and do that Toby?
Now nobody will have the pleasure of anticipation before disillusionment
I mentioned at one of our OMs the Andy Warhol (mis)quote from 1968:
“In the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes”
as well as the 1991 follow-up from Scottish musician Momus:
“In the future everyone will be famous for 15 people”
Either way, I reckon I’ve had my moment

They will now my friend, as that was not my wisest of responses. :+1:

Oi! Put that back!
I start these threads for the craic
I was only pulling your leg and none of this will make any sense if it’s not.
(Apart from that I was thinking of copying the image for a new profile )

I had a rush of guilt cycling up to the Auto Centre, to discover my parts had not arrived and I would have to come back next week. The spirits seemed to be awakened and I could see a Madman doll being pinned in the land of Unilever (ok close but guess Port Sunlight is not quite on the doorstep.

As to the profile pic, I did drop that image into my AI mangle and this popped out.

Be careful what you wish for

Talking of spirits I must pop over to your FAB 2 + 2 post, as YTUB has been pressuring me all week. Well the days before the Storm Ciaran 'lecky robbery but that’s for another day.

Sweet dreams.

I suspect they may be marbellous, when I find them. One of my other favourite artist is Hieronymus Bosch…I’ve not gone there yet. Bosch, Giger, Royo who knows what that will conjure up ? :sunglasses:

Clicked on this one last night when you posted it and stopped watching a minute in - “oh right, it’s an arty music video of people’s faces”.

Didn’t realise you were in it @brianlarsen! Nice one. Immortalised as art.

Haha, I’m sure you’re not the only one, JK-
I shared it on fb and only had 2 likes (one from the guy who organised it )
I have been known to share arty/obscure things in the past…

I always knew you would amount to something my friend  it got me thinking though do you still need glasses after your recent eye surgery or are you still wearing them just to hold up your ears?

Hehe, you can’t focus the new lenses so I need varifocals for anything close up. Besides, I’ve been wearing the same frames for decades now and I’ve grown fond of them.)There’s probably a vanity aspect too, I guess )

Infamy at last Brian. Sure they asked for a video after they saw our performance on YouTube?
I really enjoyed the song and the video but for some reason the video made me think of this.

B/w artiness, I presume
The vibe reminds me of a video I came across when this descendant of King Canute was tracing his Danish roots.

They are very similar I have to say, although I did prefer your first share, both song wise and video wise.
