Hi, I have enrolled in the online Music Theory course and have started learning and am about to start module 3. Is this course available on the App? Doing it online via You Tube is a bit long winded and not as pleasant as following the Guitar Course on the App so I’m wondering if Music Theory could be App based…?

You don’t have to do it via YouTube. You can do it on the Web site, where all the courses are very easy to follow and keep track of your progress. I didn’t have the app, but my understanding is only the beginner course is there.

Just to verify: You are talking about the Practical Music Theory course? True, that one is not included in the Justin Guitar Musopia app. Could be a very interesting idea for the future however to gamify this course a bit in an app…
Justin does however have a fantastic app that I find really useful as an addition to the theory course (I’m currently in Grade 3 as well). Have you seen this one already? It can be surprisingly addictive…

Thanks for replying, I am doing it on the website but somehow I keep ending up on You Tube which is rather annoying…

I don’t know how that is happening Robert. When watching Justin’s video lessons on the website, many have a clickable button over the video to ‘watch on Youtube’.
You see this in the bottom corner.
Those few of his thousands of lessons that are subscription only (like Practical Music Theory) to not give that option.
Those videos are not hosted on Youtube but on Vimeo.
